S. Hansen (they/them) is an artist and organizer in Minneapolis, MN. Their work combines vintage and contemporary fabrics and draws inspiration from spontaneous color combinations they observe in urban landscapes (and on their studio floor). They love to collaborate and are available for commissions and other projects.
S spent 2022 researching and studying the history and techniques of quilting in the United States. Since that time, they have enjoyed breaking the rules of traditional quilting methods in their work and reflecting on what queer homemaking looks like in the present day. In their free time, S enjoys knitting, antiquing, and spending time with their partner and orange cat in their cozy apartment.
